DPAI acknowledges that we work on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas. This land is protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant and the Between the Lakes Purchase, 1792.

Today, it remains home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to live and work on this land, and we recognize our responsibility as architects to learn from its histories and to reflect principles of care, respect, and reciprocity in the places we design.
