DPAI’s design approach focused on maximizing functional adjacencies and office configurations to ensure logical placement of programming and academic spaces. The design incorporated communal areas and student activity spaces in line with evolving trends in higher education, emphasizing service quality, peer collaboration, community engagement, program unity, and student well-being.
The project sought to establish a centralized hub for the Faculty’s offices, administrative functions, and instructional areas, prioritizing functionality, collaboration, and student welfare. The redesigned space is more student-friendly, consolidating services, offering dedicated areas for various groups, and enhancing community engagement through shared spaces and amenities. The optimized layout throughout the building includes revamped spaces, increased office capacity, and updated classrooms. The revitalization also introduced a new branding and navigation scheme for improved wayfinding within the building.
