Fire Station 123 is a cutting-edge facility designed by DPAI that both achieves and exceeds the energy target for the project determined by the City of Mississauga. The project complies with City of Mississauga’s Corporate Green Standard Tier 3 Energy Requirements, operating as a Net Zero Energy Building.

The station features a 64 kW Roof-top PV System and a 35 kW Building Integrated PV System, a building envelope optimized with a R-60 Roof, R-40 Walls, and R-15 Slab on grade. The station will go live with one EV fire truck and provisions for one additional EV fire truck in the future.
The building will be equipped with a 500 kVa Pad-mounted Transformer, in-floor radiant heating, ERV + VRF Mechanical Plant, and a PCI Vehicle Extraction System to support efficient electrical and mechanical operations. The station will achieve a TEUI of 56.7 kWh/m2, a TEDI of 29.3 kWh/m2 and GHGI of 2.8 kg CO2/m2.
