DPAI oversaw the interior design, FFE selection, tender process, and contract administration and despite being budget-friendly, the transformation was impactful.
The space was revitalized with minimal structural changes, striking a balance between open collaborative areas and private offices. The result is a fresh, modern, warm, unique, and inviting environment infused with biophilic elements. The introduction of contemporary furniture aimed to improve visibility and interaction among team members, encourage diverse forms of collaboration, and cater to different working preferences, given the team’s varied schedules. Visitors are welcomed by a modern reception area that overlooks the café work lounge on the main level, which features bar top workspaces and views of the urban park outside.
The modernization of Grant Thornton’s Hamilton branch aimed to create a space that reflects their values, enhances client engagement, offers entertainment opportunities, and fosters a transformative impact while promoting better connections among team members and clients.
The 2nd level now boasts two new quiet touchdown spaces, a lounge area with comfortable seating, and an expanded kitchen equipped with an ice well and a live wood harvest table, ideal for hosting client and team gatherings.
